About

The Stomp Out Suicide 5K & 1 Mile Trail Run is held at Withlacoochee River Park in Dade City, Pasco County, on May 1, 2027, to raise suicide awareness and promote mental health in the community. The trail program features a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk, both starting at 8 a.m., plus a 1-mile (1.6 km) run/walk at 8:10 a.m.

With options for all ages and abilities, the event welcomes experienced athletes as well as families looking for a day outdoors. Participants support suicide prevention efforts and help encourage open conversations about mental health while enjoying the park's natural setting, with an emphasis on breaking down stigma and fostering mental well-being together.
