The Step Up 4 Seniors 5K in Granbury encourages athletes to make a positive impact while showing off their endurance and competitive spirit. Held at the Hood County Senior Center on October 2, 2027, it features a 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m. and a 1-mile race at 8:35 a.m.

The event supports meal services and activity programs for local seniors, as well as the Meals on Wheels initiative that delivers nutritious meals to people in need. Competitors of all ages and fitness levels can test themselves, with prizes for the top runners in several age groups. Athletes are welcome to bring their leashed pets, making this a community race that energizes body and mind.
