About

The Stairway 5k by Ode to Laz takes place on July 18, 2027, in Holly, Michigan, at Holly Recreation Area, as part of the Ode to Laz festival, which offers two different 5K races on challenging, scenic courses. The Stairway to Heaven 5K, starting at 9:30 a.m., is the more approachable of the two, on the Wilderness Trail, while the Stairway to Hell 5K is tougher, with several hard climbs.

Both races showcase the natural beauty of the state park and come with plenty of family activities, such as kayaking, fishing, camping and the Heron Lake beach, in a lively atmosphere on these unique trails.
