The SSW Running Club Club Challenge 5k in Tinley Park, in Cook County, is an annual race that brings together running clubs from across the Chicago area. It takes place on August 4, 2027, with a 7 p.m. start. Teams of three (men's, women's or mixed) compete in high school, open and masters divisions, and each team's combined time decides the champions. Unattached runners are welcome too.

Set along the scenic trails of Yankee Woods, the 5K (3.1 miles) offers a fast, friendly course suited to seasoned and casual runners alike. After the race, everyone is invited to an awards ceremony at Oliver's in Oak Forest, with a complimentary appetizer. Awards go to the top three overall and to the winners of each age group.
