About

The Sri Chinmoy Midnight Marathon takes place at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, just north of New York City, with the marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) starting at midnight on June 13, 2027. The scenic, flat and fast loop course is ideal for setting a personal record.

Well-stocked aid stations, custom race T-shirts and medals for every finisher are part of the event. Laps are counted by hand and a visible bib is required. Safety measures include a recommendation to wear a headlamp, cyclists on the course throughout and patrols by park police.

The race supports the Self-Transcendence 3,100 Mile Race. Runners must be at least 18 years old, and there is no race-day registration.
