The Sri Chinmoy Marathon takes place at Rockland Lake in Congers, New York, on August 23, 2027, starting at 7 a.m. The marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) is a Boston Marathon qualifier, run on a scenic USATF-certified loop.

Amenities include aid stations, custom T-shirts and medals, medical support and a vegetarian meal after the race. Shuttle service from Manhattan and race packets are available for added convenience. There is a 7-hour time limit, and awards are presented in several age groups. If the race is canceled, it will switch to a virtual format, with T-shirts and medals mailed to participants.
