Spokane Marathon

The Spokane Marathon takes place in Spokane on October 10, 2027, with three races spread across the morning: the marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) at 7:00 a.m., the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 8:00 a.m. and a 10K (6.2 miles) at 9:00 a.m.

Staggering the starts an hour apart has a practical upside: runners in each race stay among their own, without being overtaken by a pack moving at a different pace. The 10K, the last to start, lends itself to a personal best attempt for anyone who has put in threshold work over the summer; the half suits runners already comfortable with an hour and a half of effort; the marathon calls for a full training cycle.
