The Socktober Dash is a charity 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Spokane, Washington, benefiting Teen & Kid Closet. It takes place on October 17, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. Participants bring new, unopened socks and underwear, which are donated to local kids and teens in need.
Runners are invited to show up in Halloween costumes or fun socks for the contests, with prizes in categories such as Best Socks, Worst Socks and Most Original Socks. Snacks are served at the finish.
