Sizzling Soles Half-marathon

Sizzling Soles Half-marathon takes place on July 10, 2027, in Cary, Wake County, North Carolina, organised by Fit & Able Productions. Three distances start at 8:00 a.m.: the half marathon (13.1 mi), a 6.55-miler (10.5 km) and a 5K (3.1 mi). The event is open to running, walking and wheeled participation, in person or remotely.

The 6.55-mile option is exactly half the half marathon, which makes it the most useful distance on the program: run it at your goal half pace and you have a precise, honest answer about whether that goal is realistic. In North Carolina in July, do that test in the morning heat rather than on a cool evening, or the answer will flatter you.
