About

The Schweizer Fest 2 & 6 Mile Road Run is a Tell City tradition, inviting runners and walkers of all abilities to two races that wind through the historic downtown on August 7, 2027. The 6-mile (9.7 km) race starts at 8 a.m. and the 2-mile (3.2 km) race at 8:05 a.m.

Organized by Everybody's Fun & Fitness Center, the event is part of the larger Schweizer Fest celebration. Awards go to the top three in each age group and gender, with special recognition for the overall male and female winners across both races. Age groups are in five-year increments. There is also a kids' run, free for children under 7, with every child receiving a bib and a participation ribbon.
