Santa Barbara Wine Country

Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon is run on May 8, 2027, from Solvang, California. The half marathon (13.1 mi) crosses the Santa Ynez Valley past vineyards and horse ranches and through the historic towns of Santa Ynez and Los Olivos, before finishing in the centre of Solvang, where a wine and music festival follows. A two-person relay is offered over the same course. Start times are not listed in our records.

A point-to-point half in wine country is a race you travel to, so treat the weekend as part of the plan: stay close to the finish rather than the start, and keep the festival for afterwards.
