About

Salute to Our Heroes is a 5K and 10K held at Pompano Air Park in Pompano Beach, Florida, over the May 22–23, 2027 weekend. Both races start at 7:00 a.m. on May 23, 2027: the S10K (6.2 miles) and the 5K (3.1 miles), run on an out-and-back course open to all ages and abilities in a friendly atmosphere powered by the local community.

Every runner receives a club T-shirt, a medal and a personalized bib with their name on it. The spirit of the race is first and foremost about taking part: some go for a fast time, others simply enjoy the morning, and walkers and families are just as welcome as experienced runners.
