The SAK Strong 5K Run/Walk takes place in Peabody, in Essex County, Massachusetts, on September 19, 2027, with the 5K and a 1-mile walk (1.6 km) both starting at 10:00 a.m. Organized by High5EM, it honors Chris Sakelakos, who battled osteosarcoma.
Alongside the run/walk there is a youth fun run, making it a day for family and friends. The race is followed by an evening party with live music, food trucks, raffles, lawn games and refreshments, and all proceeds go to the SAK Strong Foundation.
