RYAN LAMBERT MEMORIAL 5K

The RYAN LAMBERT MEMORIAL 5K is held in Bowers Beach, Delaware, on June 12, 2027, with a 5K (3.1-mile) run and a 5K walk both starting at 9:00 a.m. Held in memory of Ryan Andrew Lambert, this charitable event supports programs for Vietnam veterans in Delaware and the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness. It is organized by the Ryan Lambert Memorial Committee and the Seashore Striders.

The fundraiser runs on a fast, flat course along scenic roads. Registration is available online or on site, and awards are planned for various age groups. The event puts an emphasis on safety and course etiquette, and discourages unregistered runners and the use of headphones. Participants receive a T-shirt and refreshments, and there will be music. Registration fees are nonrefundable, but entries can be transferred or turned into a donation.
