About

RWJBarnabas Health Running with the Devils 5K Run & Walk is held in West Orange, New Jersey, on November 1, 2026. The 5K run and the accompanying wellness walk, both covering 3.1 miles, start together at 9 a.m., and the event is designed for all ages and abilities. A virtual option is available if you cannot make it in person.

Having the run and the walk on the same course at the same time makes this an easy event to sign up for as a group, with no one left waiting. Post-race festivities take place at the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo, with free admission for registered participants, so budget time to stay afterward. Proceeds support initiatives promoting healthier communities across New Jersey.
