Run4Rare 5K / 1K is held at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater Township on May 15, 2027, with a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 9:30 a.m. and a 1K run/walk at 9:35 a.m. The event supports research and families affected by mtARS disorders and offers both in-person and virtual participation.

Organized by the co-founder of CureARS, it aims to raise awareness and funds for life-saving treatments for children with similar diseases around the world. Participants receive bibs, T-shirts and goodie bags.
