About

The Shamrock New Year's Day 5 Mile Road Race and 3 Mile Walk kicks off the new year in Woburn on January 1, 2027 with a bracing 5-mile (8 km) road race starting from the Irish American Club. The race steps off at noon, followed at 12:05 p.m. by a 3-mile (4.8 km) walk.

This is the opening event of the Shamrock Grand Prix series and is open to participants aged 19 and over. After you cross the finish line, there is a post-race potluck lunch, where everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite chili or snacks, along with a cash bar. The festivities continue with an after-party at the club, with pizza, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks provided.
