Run With Shears is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Indianapolis on May 15, 2027, honoring the courage and sacrifice of EMTs and paramedics who died in the line of duty. The Kid's Dash starts at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m.

Athletes from across the Midwest join EMS professionals, runners and walkers on a scenic route along the downtown canal. The event welcomes all abilities, accommodates kids and strollers, and even features a 911-meter race for young participants.
