The Run & Remember 5k takes place in Springfield on May 20, 2027, to honor and celebrate loved ones who have passed away. The program features a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) and a 1 Mile Memory Walk, both starting at 5:30 p.m.

Participants of all ages can choose between several scenic routes, and the event includes the Memory Garden, a space set aside for reflection.
