Run Rabbit Run 100

The signature course here is a spectacular 50-mile route through the Routt National Forest in northern Colorado, timed to catch the mountains in full autumn color. The race starts early morning at the Steamboat Springs ski resort, at roughly 6,890 feet, then climbs, and climbs, and climbs to the top of Mount Werner at about 10,554 feet.

From there the course rolls up and down repeatedly before crossing the Continental Divide toward Rabbit Ears Peak, at roughly 10,433 feet, then descends back down to the ski resort to finish. A 100-mile option is also offered for runners looking for double the distance and the same high-altitude Colorado scenery.
