The Run for the Pumpkins Trail Run in Westerly kicks off the WTAC Fall Trail Race Series, with a choice of a 5K or 10K trail race on October 2, 2027. Both start at 10:00 a.m., followed by a 1K children's run at 11:00 a.m.

Both courses start and finish at Bradford Preserve and take runners through the Town of Westerly's preserved lands and the Woody Hill Management Area, ideal for athletes looking for a lively, scenic run immersed in the natural beauty of the season. Registering for two of the series' three races also earns a 10% discount.
