The Race for Raymond is a 5K (3.1-mile) run and walk in Hopkinton, held on May 2, 2027, at 10 a.m. at Camp Yawgoog. It is organized by the Hopkinton Police Department to support its Compassion Dog program.
The program was launched with Raymond, a Goldendoodle puppy, to strengthen community relations. Funded through donations and fundraising, it has been a great success across the state. Participants are welcome to run or walk the course with their friendly, leashed dogs. The event aims to bring together the community that supports the Hopkinton Police Department's initiatives.
