The Run for Salem Free Clinics takes place in Salem on August 7, 2027, with a 10K (6.2 miles) run and a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 9 a.m., plus a 2-mile (3.2 km) fun walk at 9:05 a.m. It supports Salem Free Clinics, a nonprofit providing free health care to people without insurance.

Participants can choose between an in-person or a virtual race, and all are entered in a prize drawing. Early registrants receive a T-shirt. Registration fees vary by age and are free for children under 5 (no T-shirt). Virtual participants complete their run within a set window and submit their times.
