About

The Run for Pie 5K Presented by Live Run Give LLC takes place on September 19, 2027, in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, at Duke Island Park in Somerset County. The single 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 9:45 a.m. on a flat course, and every finisher receives a medal. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.

A course with no elevation change is a runner's best friend for a 5K personal record: you can lock in your pace from the first mile and hold it to the end, with no surges forced by the terrain. To make the most of it, know your benchmark time and set a per-mile target rather than following the runners around you. The 9:45 a.m. start leaves time for a proper warm-up, something many runners skip at shorter distances.
