About

Run for Joe is a community event in Decherd held in honor of local figure Joe Bach, with a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile (1.6 km) option, both starting at 8:00 a.m. on July 4, 2027. Participants of all abilities are welcome to run or walk.

Proceeds from the event go to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. A reception follows the race to strengthen community spirit and engagement.
