The Reach the Beach 5K is a 5K run and walk (3.1 miles) held at the Sunset Bay Beach Club in Irving, New York, on August 15, 2027, starting at 9:30 a.m. The race starts and finishes at the Beach Club, on a course that runs through the neighborhood streets.

Participants get free parking and beach access for the day. After the race, they can head to the craft and vendor fair at Cabana Sam's Sunset Bay Grill, with a range of vendors and live music. Proceeds from the event support the Sunset Bay volunteer firefighters.
