About

The Razom Freedom Run 5K Chicago is a timed 5K (3.1 miles) held in Elk Grove Village, in the Chicago area, on August 22, 2027, starting at 9 a.m. This community event invites runners and walkers of all ages to celebrate freedom and support the Ukrainian community.

Created by Ukrainian Olympian Nelya Neporadna, the race helps people affected by the war: registration fees and donations go to the Protez Foundation, which works in prosthetic care and rehabilitation.
