Rainbow Ridge 20k/50k

The Rainbow Ridge Run drops runners into the heart of Oregon's wild scenery. The race starts at the Olallie North Trailhead and climbs toward the summit of Horse Pasture Mountain. From there, the route follows a ridge past Macduff Mountain before a long, technical descent to the O'Leary/Castle Rock Trailhead. Save some energy for the final climb up King's Castle, a tough ascent rewarded with a sweeping panoramic view. The course finishes with an unforgettable six-mile descent on a winding, rolling trail through lush, moss-covered forest, an exhilarating end to a demanding route with more than 7,000 feet of elevation gain. Runners can choose between the 20K (12.4 miles) and 50K (31 miles) distances.
