About

The McKenzie River Trail Run in Blue River is a 50K (31 miles) trail ultra held on June 12, 2027, with a 7:00 a.m. start. The course follows the crystal-clear McKenzie River and showcases Oregon's natural wonders, from thundering waterfalls and lava flows to old-growth forest and the striking Tamolitch Blue Pool, where the river flows through ancient lava tubes.

This legendary event is Oregon's oldest continuously run ultramarathon. The course is technically challenging but only moderately hilly, ideal for runners seeking adventure and inspiration. Race proceeds go to nonprofits in the McKenzie Bridge area, supporting the local community and small businesses.
