Ragnar Trail Appalachians is a team trail relay held in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, on August 6–7, 2027. Teams take turns to cover a combined 117 miles (188 km) of forest trails and mountain scenery typical of the region.

The format is all about mutual support and teamwork: each runner completes several loops over the weekend, by day and by night. It is designed for groups of friends and enthusiasts who would rather share an endurance challenge than race solo. The wooded, rolling terrain shifts in mood between daytime legs and quieter, more intimate night sections.
