Racin for Bacon 5k/10k - Bridgewater

Racin for Bacon 5k/10k - Bridgewater takes place on November 22, 2026 in Cranford, New Jersey, and welcomes both runners and their dogs. Two events start at 10:00 AM: a 4-mile run (about 6.4 km) and a 2K Pup Strut for participants with their four-legged companions. Free bacon awaits at the finish, with bacon treats for the dogs.

All levels of runners and walkers are welcome. Every participant receives a medal, and part of the proceeds goes to GiGi's Playhouse; shirts and medals are guaranteed only for the first 300 registrants. The 4-mile is a friendly step up from a 5K and needs no more than a few weeks of regular running, with one run of four to five miles per week to get comfortable with the distance; the 2K is an easy outing for families and dog owners who want to be part of the morning.
