About

The Race to Save the Harvest is a family-friendly event at Minto-Brown Island Park in Salem, with a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 9:30 a.m. and a 3K (1.9 miles) run/walk at 9:35 a.m. on June 26, 2027. It supports the mission of Salem Harvest: feeding families in need and reducing food waste in the Willamette Valley.

Participants can run, walk or skip along shaded trails. The event also features a raffle, lawn games and community booths. All funds raised help rescue fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste, making it a chance to support a good cause while enjoying time with family and friends.
