Pumpkin Pacer 5k @ White Barn Farm

Pumpkin Pacer 5k @ White Barn Farm is a run, walk and hike over protected land in Wrentham, Massachusetts, and at White Barn Farm itself, held on October 24, 2026 with a 9 a.m. start. Part of the Farm to Table 5K series, it is open to all ages and abilities and celebrates local agriculture and land stewardship. There are costume contests, awards for the leading finishers and a raffle, and entry includes free admission to the Harvestween Festival with music, food and local vendors. Proceeds support White Barn Farm's work on open space and food security.

Running on farmland and conservation land is not the same as a road 5K: the footing varies, so run by effort and expect a slower time than you would post on pavement. That also makes it an easy race to enter without much specific training, since walkers and hikers are explicitly part of the field. If you do want to race it, a few runs on grass or gravel beforehand will do more for you than another session on the track.
