About

Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5k (Race 2 Tour de Patrick) takes place in Providence, Rhode Island, on March 20, 2027, as the second race of the Tour de Patrick. The 5K (3.1 miles) can be run or walked and starts at 11:00 a.m., preceded at 10:30 a.m. by a Kids Leprechaun Run of 1 kilometer for ages 12 and under. The late start is unusual for a road 5K and makes for a relaxed morning.

An 11:00 a.m. gun changes your routine: eat a normal breakfast several hours out rather than rushing something down, and use the extra time for a proper warm-up. Because the field mixes runners and walkers, seed yourself honestly at the line. If you are working through the Tour de Patrick series, treat this one as a repeatable hard effort rather than a peak race, and keep your mileage steady between events instead of resting up for each.
