About

The Procrastination Run in the Village of Waukesha is a fun, no-pressure race on September 26, 2027, offering a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) run and a 5K walk, all starting at 9:00 a.m., plus the Kiddos 1K (0.6 mile) at 8:45 a.m. It suits runners and walkers of all abilities.

Participants can enjoy well-marked, scenic trails and tackle one punchy hill. The focus is on the fun of taking part rather than speed, and the event encourages everyone to finally check "go for a run" off their to-do list. A new activity has been added: rucking, which means walking or hiking with a weighted backpack. Inspired by military training, rucking is a popular low-impact workout now available at all Wisconsin Trail Assail events.
