About

The Popcorn Panic 5M Run & 5K Run/Walk draws more than 1,200 participants every year to the tree-lined streets of Valparaiso. On September 11, 2027, the 5-mile run (8 km) starts at 7:20 a.m., followed by the 5K run/walk at 7:30 a.m.

Participants can enter individually or as teams, with team awards based on the performance of the top four members. Individual awards go to the top overall and masters finishers, as well as age-group winners. The 5-mile champions receive prizes including a crown, a gift card and more.
