The Pond Fest Winter Trail Runs and Snowshoe Race takes place during the Binghamton Pond Festival at Chenango Valley State Park in Chenango Forks on January 16, 2027. Participants can choose from several trail running or snowshoe options, all sharing the same start and finish: a 50K (31.1 miles) at 7 a.m., a 20K (12.4 miles) at 9 a.m., a 10K (6.2 miles) at 1 p.m. and a quarter-mile (0.4 km) kids' run at 12:30 p.m.

The races are self-supported, with assistance available at the start/finish, and run alongside festival activities such as food trucks and hockey games. The Binghamton Pond Festival aims to offer the community an enjoyable winter experience and supports local nonprofits focused on youth, education and sports programs. Spectators and park visitors are welcome.
