Pisgah Farms and Furlongs Half Mare-athon and 10K

The Pisgah Farms and Furlongs Half Mare-athon and 10K takes place in Versailles, Kentucky, in late May, and is a one-of-a-kind race through famous horse farms such as Ashbrook, Newtownanner, Buck Pond and WinStar. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 6:45 a.m., with a 10K run/walk and a 5K run/walk starting at 7:05 a.m.

Both the half and the 10K cover scenic roads in the heart of Kentucky's bluegrass country. The event includes commemorative shirts, custom finisher medals, free race photos and mini massages afterward. Social teams can add to the fun, with a prize for the largest team, and the field is limited to protect the quality of the experience. Rolling farmland roads can have little shade, so wear sun protection.
