About

The Back The Track 5K & Woodford Track Challenge in Versailles is organized by the Woodford County Track Club to support track and field programs in local schools. On August 13, 2027, the 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk starts at 7:30 p.m., followed by a 1-mile fun run/walk at 7:40 p.m.

Activities include timed and untimed races, the Woodford Track Challenge with a range of fitness tests, and a stick horse race for kids. Participants can try to beat school records in sprints, throws, jumps and relays.

Awards go to top performers, and everyone can enjoy food, music and good company. The event is a chance to get involved in the community and raise money for the track club, with race shirts, free photos and the opportunity to run on a new track.
