About

The Pier to Pier Challenge Swim & 5k Run takes place in Wildwood Gables, on beautiful Wildwood Beach in Cape May County, on July 10, 2027, with a 5K beach run and a 1-mile kids run at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 1-mile swim and a quarter-mile kids swim at 10:00 a.m.

Swimmers tackle a unique triangle-shaped course, and runners race along the shoreline. A kids race is also on the program, and you can enter both events as part of the Double Down Challenge. Every participant receives a swim cap, a T-shirt and a timing chip. Awards go to the top finishers in both categories. The event supports the Wildwood Beach Patrol.
