The Peter De Mott Peace Trot 5K, held in Ward 2, is an annual 5K organized by the Ithaca Catholic Worker in honor of peace activist Peter De Mott. On June 20, 2027, a timed 5K and a timed 1-mile both start at 9 a.m.

All participants receive a T-shirt and post-race refreshments, and original prizes go to the winners of each age group.
