About

The Passion Play Trail Run takes place in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in early April, as part of the Great Passion Play. The half marathon trail run (13.1 miles) and a 5-mile trail run start at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 5K trail run and a fun run of about a mile at 8:30 a.m.

Runners follow trails that are part of the Oz Trail System in northwest Arkansas, passing landmarks such as the Christ of the Ozarks statue and sections of the Holy Land Tour. Participants receive a medal and a ticket to attend the Great Passion Play. Aid stations are placed along the course and refreshments wait at the finish. The Ozarks are hilly and rocky, so shoes with solid grip help.
