The Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally 5K takes place in Panguitch, Utah, on June 26, 2027, with a 7:00 a.m. start. Runners cover the 5K (3.1 miles) while hot-air balloons rise into the sky, making for a one-of-a-kind backdrop.

The course starts and finishes on a track and runs through the streets of Panguitch. Medals go to the top ten men and women across the finish line, and a free kids' race is held around the track after the main event.

A team challenge is open to PHX alumni, their spouses and Panguitch residents. Teams must include at least two men and two women (up to seven runners), and are scored on their top two men and top two women. The top two teams receive a T-shirt, which is not guaranteed for race-day registrants.
