About

The Cedar City Half Marathon and its companion Adventure 5K offer runners a unique, intimate and breathtaking experience in beautiful Cedar Canyon in southern Utah, on September 11, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) is a well-organized point-to-point course that puts quality over quantity, with closed roads, enthusiastic volunteers and a peaceful canyon setting to the sound of Coal Creek.

Runners are bused to the start, and from there it is all downhill, literally. The half follows SR-14 before joining Cedar City's well-kept trail system for a smooth finish at the Bicentennial Soccer Complex. The Adventure 5K is a shorter but equally scenic challenge, perfect for friends, family and beginners. Age-group awards, finish-line refreshments and a festive atmosphere round out this hidden-gem race.
