The Paddle Run 4 CureHHT @ Captain Jim’s in Gibraltar, Michigan, combines a 1.7-mile (2.8 km) kayak or stand-up paddleboard course at 9:00 a.m. with a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 9:15 a.m. on June 6, 2027.

The event raises awareness and funds for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), a genetic disorder with serious health consequences. Participants paddle on Lake Erie, then run or walk. Food and drinks are served afterward. Participants are asked to bring life jackets and may want to bring their own kayaks, as only a limited number are available.
