About

The Pace and Pedal Event in Black River Falls opens on May 15, 2027, at 8:00 a.m. with the Pace and Pedal Duathlon: a demanding 4.6-mile (7.4 km) run on rugged, unpaved trails followed by a fast 10.3-mile (16.6 km) ride on paved roads. Athletes can race solo or team up with a partner for a competitive edge, and prizes await the top finishers, with a dedicated youth category for athletes 17 and under.

For a lighter, community-focused experience, the 5K Color Fun Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. lets participants log a relaxed or fast 5K (3.1 miles), with optional color stations along the route. Young athletes can take on the Youth Color Run at 10:00 a.m., a simple 1-mile (1.6 km) course on paved road designed especially for kids. All finishers receive a medal and can buy an event T-shirt while supplies last.
