About
Heartland Series Day 6 is held on July 15, 2027, in Sparta, Wisconsin. Five distances are offered: a 50K (31.1 mi), the marathon (26.2 mi), the half marathon (13.1 mi), a 10K (6.2 mi) and a 5K (3.1 mi). Start times are not listed in our records.
Sparta sits in the driftless country of western Wisconsin, where the terrain is more rolling than the rest of the series' Midwest stops — worth knowing if you have been pacing off flat days all week. Take the climbs at a walk if you are six days into the series; there is no prize for running every hill and one day left to survive.
