The Oxbow Trail Run takes place at Oxbow Regional Park outside Gresham, Oregon, along the Sandy River, about 30 minutes from downtown Portland, in late April. It is a fun, family-friendly day with a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) or a 5K (3.1 miles), all starting and finishing at the Alder picnic area in the middle of the park. The half marathon runs on a loop circuit, while the 10K and 5K follow out-and-back routes. The event is cup-free, so bring your own bottle or reusable cup. Half marathon runners will find aid stations serving water and electrolytes.
