Newton Pride Halloween 5K & Fun Run

Newton Pride Halloween 5K & Fun Run is based at Newton High School in Newton, New Jersey, on October 24, 2026, with the Monster Bash 5K starting at 8:30 a.m. The 5K follows a certified course through Newton and runners are encouraged to turn up in costume. A 1-mile fun run is offered alongside it for anyone who prefers a shorter distance, open to all ages. Show your bib at O'Reilly's Pub afterwards for a drink, and proceeds go to the Newton Pride Education Foundation.

Certification matters if you care about your time: a measured course means the 3.1 miles you run really is 3.1 miles, so the result is worth using to set your training paces. Newcomers can take the mile instead and keep the 5K as a target for the spring.
