About

The New River Gorge Half Marathon is part of the New River Gorge Trail Festival in Fayetteville, West Virginia, held in New River Gorge National Park on June 18–19, 2027. Alongside the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), the program includes a 50K (31 miles / 50 km), a 5K (3.1 miles) and two Bridge Double combos: the 5K & Half and the 5K & 50K.

The 5K, which also opens both Bridge Doubles, starts at 7 p.m. on June 18, while the half marathon and the 50K start at 7 a.m. on June 19. The races showcase the park's stunning scenery and significant climbs, backed by well-stocked aid stations and a lively atmosphere that wins over runners and spectators alike. After the race, participants can explore the many activities and attractions of the national park, making the weekend a blend of competition and adventure for endurance fans.
